Whether it’s independent living, assisted living, or a memory care community, senior living offers residents a sense of home in a caring, nurturing, and supportive environment, surrounded by their peers. It also offers families peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are in a safe place where they are well taken care of by compassionate experts.
We created Engaging to help senior communities maximize their resident experience with a low-cost, easy-to-implement, turnkey solution that provides games, puzzles, arts & crafts, and other activities that can be enjoyed individually, with other residents, or as part of a community’s existing program.
Our products stimulate overall engagement and improved wellness by exercising cognitive behavior, dexterity, muscle memory, speech recognition, etc. They are sourced by a team of Occupational Therapists with over 75 years’ experience working exclusively within the senior community.
Engaging Seniors
Engaging was created to support organizations that provide products and/or services to the senior community. Our products stimulate overall engagement and promote overall wellness by exercising cognitive behavior.
Our assisted living partners utilize Engaging products in a variety of ways to consistently present residents with new and creative ways to engage, based on the unique needs of their community.
Nothing welcomes a new resident to the community quite like a thoughtful gift. Our “Welcome” bundles provide a purposeful way to celebrate a new arrival and immediately create an engaging environment. The first few weeks following a new transition can be difficult, and engaging activities present an opportunity to focus on something else as they become acclimated to their new surroundings. Engaging activities can be enjoyed individually, with a staff member, and shortly after their arrival, with new friends.
Our activity program is designed to reinvigorate engagement within an assisted living community. Our “closets” provide a turnkey library of resources that can be introduced to residents by a staff member individually, in small groups, or larger group settings. Instructions are included with each activity, allowing for virtually effortless implementation and enjoyment. Activities are then available (when appropriate) for residents to engage with on their time now that they are familiar with the game, puzzle, etc. Each month, new activities are delivered by Engaging, providing a robust, exciting, and constantly refreshed source of engagement.
